Weekly Objectives for 11/17/14 - 11/21/14

Overview - This week is going to be crazy.  We have our 2nd Annual Greek Fest on Wednesday, November 19th. The event will be held in the Middle School Gymnasium, from 4-6 PM.   The community is encouraged to attend.  We hope to have all of our wonderful work on display for everyone to see.
The Newsroom will not be skipping a beat this week.  We still have three newspapers to crank out and also our ever famous broadcasts.  The kids are now running the complete room without assistance from adults.  The employees are constantly challenging themselves each and everyday.  Stay tuned in and please enjoy our final week of hard work.

Monday - 11/17/14 -
Business will be run just like it has been run for the past two weeks.  The employees will be expected to produce their best paper yet.  We have finally worked out the bugs with the SONY Vegas editing system, so everyone can now enjoy watching the broadcasts.  Stay tuned in, and as always, enjoy the show.

Tuesday - 11/18/14 -
Well, the final day of the Newsroom has arrived, rather quickly I might say.  I couldn't be more proud of a group of students.  They have gained confidence in managing time, and hitting deadlines.  They have become confident writers that are able to research information, while infusing their own styles in the articles.  The broadcast room has been able to conquer the SONY Vegas editing system, and come out as production veterans.
The culminating event will be held tomorrow in the Middle School Gymnasium, where the 6th grade STEM team will be holding its second annual Greek Fest. The show begins at 4 PM and runs until 6 PM.  We look forward to seeing you there.
